The heart behind Nurture & Thrive

My story

You deserve to understand your changing needs—and feel confident making choices about your well-being.

Nurture & Thrive grew from my own search for that understanding.

I’m Jerilyn, the founder of Nurture & Thrive. My interest in holistic wellness began when I noticed changes in my body and mind that I didn’t fully understand.

I was navigating life changes, struggling with sleep, feeling exhausted, experiencing shifts in my mood, and gaining weight when it had never been a concern before. There were also hot flashes and nights waking drenched in sweat.

I began looking for answers about how to care for myself through everything I was experiencing. I wanted to understand my needs and what might support me.

With three grown children out of the house, I found myself single again during the pandemic. The quieter pace gave me time to look inward and process those changes. I’ve always welcomed change as an opportunity to grow, but some seasons take more time to understand.

Travel, creativity, and time for myself became part of rediscovering what mattered to me. Conversations with other women revealed how many of us were navigating changes and unanswered questions, often unsure where to turn.

In 2024, I pursued training through AFPA to better support myself and other women through the many experiences that shape our well-being. Today, as a Certified Master Health and Wellness Coach, I bring that education and my personal perspective to Nurture & Thrive, sharing what I’ve learned—and what I’m continuing to learn.

My purpose is to give you tools to understand yourself more deeply, explore your experiences, ask better questions, and make informed choices. Through wellness journals and educational resources, I offer a compassionate approach to self-care for women, welcoming women at different stages of life.

The answer does not have to look the same for every woman. My hope is that you feel understood and heard here—and leave with more knowledge, greater confidence, and a stronger sense of your ability to care for yourself.

Your observations matter. Your questions matter. You matter in the conversation.

I’m glad you’re here.
